Taweret Martini Trove

Drawing from Taweret, the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection and fertility, the Taweret Martini Trove renders the hippopotamus form as a sculptural bar artifact. Cast in bronze and finished with a hand-applied forest-to-teal ombré patina, the surface is articulated with open lotus motifs and restrained 18K gold PVD accents across the eyes, tusks, collar, and detailing. A removable white onyx tray crowns the form, revealing concealed storage for glassware and bar essentials. Both protective and functional, the work positions ritual hospitality within a language of mythic symbolism, material precision, and contemporary collectible design.
